This Privacy Policy explains what information QuoteRig (operated by Liam Dixon, Easton, Pennsylvania) collects, how we use it, and your choices.

1. What we collect

• Account information: your email address and password (stored securely as a hash).
• Business information: your business name, contact details, logo, license info, and price list.
• Your customers' information: names, email addresses, phone numbers, service addresses, and the contents of quotes you create, plus acceptance and signature details your customers provide.
• Billing information: subscription status and Stripe customer IDs. Card details are handled by Stripe, not stored by us.
• Usage information: basic technical logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used to run and secure the Service.

2. How we use it

We use this information to provide the Service: creating and sending quotes, drafting quotes with AI, showing quotes to your customers, processing payments, sending service emails, preventing abuse, and improving QuoteRig.

3. Service providers (processors)

We share information only with providers that help us run the Service, and only as needed:

• Supabase: database and authentication.
• Vercel: website hosting.
• Stripe: subscription billing and payments.
• xAI: AI drafting of quotes (job details you enter are sent to generate a draft).
• Resend: sending quote emails to your customers.

4. No sale of data

We do not sell your personal information or your customers' information, and we do not share it for advertising.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time by emailing us; we will delete it within a reasonable time, except where we must keep certain records (such as billing records) by law.

6. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls so each contractor can only see their own data, and trusted infrastructure providers. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices

You can view and update your business information in the app, and you can request a copy or deletion of your data by contacting us.

8. Children

QuoteRig is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. We will change the date above and notify you of material changes.
